Urbanscapes 2013

Hey everyone, with November ending I'm gonna be embracing all the adventures and fun for the upcoming semester break. These past few weeks have been extremely hectic juggling between college and a social life and trying to squeeze in blogging whenever I have the time. Let's skip right to the best part of November and it is Urbanscapes! Very excited for it ever since early this year and even marked the dates down just so I know nothing will come in my way. Except cousin's wedding and a test but fraid not I've all things sorted out. For those of you who don't know what Urbanscapes is, it's Malaysia’s longest running all-day creative arts festival. I believe it reflects the local arts scene very well by having an abundance of musics, foods and visual art installments to feed onto. 

I’m really loving the artsy event culture that has been booming in the local community, it drives creativity and thinking outside of the box, which I’m all for. I’m always keen to attend events like this that comes to light. I first discovered about Urbanscapes two years ago and it was my first experience on attending it. 

  

This year Urbanscapes 2013 is proud to announce new additions to the Big Weekend of creative arts, music and community. Happening on November 23rd and 24th at MAEPS, where the finest hipster getup and for a musical weekend like no other. I am so hyped up that Two Door Cinema Club and Tegan & Sara will be performing as well as the Australian indie band Last Dinosaurs. There's gonna be so much to see and do that I'm already feeling quite overwhelmed as with every Urbanscapes, walking around means spontaneous reunions with people you haven’t seen in awhile. Appreciating the strong presence of art interweave throughout the festival. People-watching can also be a thoroughly entertaining experience, for that I mean about the fashion styles that will be going on. Can't wait to see how much the people and atmosphere has evolve.
